How we got infected:

On their anniversary party in the summer of 2001, Rogues MC introduced their guests to something 'new' called unimotorcycle. Although they had already wrecked the thing during the days before the party and burned the clutch, they managed to show enough of the smoking remains to create our the interest.
So an old Honda Bol d'or 900cc, that had been standing unused in the clubhouse garage for a couple of years, volunteered to be the first Catch-22 unimotorcycle.

The first race (according to us):

The first race was organized by Black Sheep MC Heereveen in 2002. Our pilot had anxiously been waiting for the races to start for several hours. Due to a volatile mix of enthusiasm and misinterpreted signals, our unimotorcycle rocketed away from the starting line, only to meet the Rogues unimotorcycle pretty hard some 25m further. Our unimotorcycle and our pilot had a little flirtation with gravity, but both had to give in and landed, after a couple of spectacular flip-flops, back on mother earth. All cameramen were take by surprise (of course), so no photographic records exist of this spectacular event. Black Sheep won the race by default, as we had eliminated the Rogues when we smacked into their unimotorcyle (their would have wrecked it themselves any way...)

And Now?

We've build a new unimotorcycle in 2003 and are rebuilding the thing again. We've set ourselves some simple goals for the coming 2005 season, win as many races as possible (and crash as little as possible). So see you all at the races, bring your camera's and be alert ! As for our competitors : try to catch number 22 :-)
